Mothers killing babies
- We have a world that tells mothers it is okay to kill their babies if it suits them! The worst crime a human being can commit is to kill their own child. I gave birth to triplet girls at 30 weeks gestation; they had to battle for their lives, but they made it! Yet here you have "mothers" killing their full-term babies by partial abortions! Are they being told their baby's parts are likely to be sold to pharmaceutical or cosmetic industries??

Partial birth abortion should be banned
- Partial birth abortion, or any abortion for that matter, should be banned and never spoken of again. This is just pure sick, and all the women out there who have done it are murderers. Yeah, stuff happens, sometimes it's your fault, sometimes it isn't, but that is absolutely NO reason to kill an innocent child. Everything happens for a reason and if you aren't ready to care for a child, then why are you acting like it? If a woman/girl is raped then adoption is always an option. Children do not deserve to die under any circumstances!

Personally
- I believe the whole abortion thing is the woman's choice and no one else should have any right to interfere with your life and the things you choose to do. Everyone has a right to choose their own way of life. Is the legal system all backwards? Yes... but when is it not? However, I don't see any reason for why someone would need to have a partial abortion.

Abortion is wrong and should be Illegal!
- I think abortion is wrong! I was adopted when I was one yr old and my biological mother was 13 when she had me. If she would have had an abortion I wouldnt be a mother and a wife today. I think abortion is murder and everyone who does it should go to jail!

excuses excuses
- In response to guest hopeless, I can't believe that you would openly use that excuse as a reason for abortion. I am a mother of a child with special needs and I find it horrendous that you would say " Why make the baby suffer, it would never be normal again." How do you know that you are normal? There isn't a book laying around telling us what normal is. You are a cold-blooded murder and I want to make sure you clearly understand me when I say.

Adoption is ALWAYS and Option
- I can empathize with the woman who is fearful and overwhelmed in an unexpected pregnancy. However, think about the fact that this baby is not even being given a chance, so it's not about choice, because if it was, abortion wouldn't be tolerated. There is no such thing as a little bit pregnant, and partial birth abortions are in my opinion, brutal and inhumane. Even the AMA says, according to this article, that there is never any medical reason for it. If you don't want to raise a child, put it up for adoption. Your conscience will be clear.

Circumstances of Mothers
- Do not stereotypically think that abortion is "an easy way out" of the consequences. It's not. I'm sure for many women, if their circumstances did not call for it, they would not choose to abort their child. An outsider would not understand what the mother is going through and it's unfair to neglect the mother's feelings and force something on her that would impact her life forever. Women are not baby-making machines. The health, financial well-being, and family well-being need to be considered as well. Furthermore, sometimes things happen that one does not expect (rape, condom breaking, father leaves halfway, health complications). Do not judge others if you do not understand them. I respect the view that children should be able to live and that they are a gift. However, will the mother be able to view the child as a gift when it reminds her of a rape or an abusive man? Of course, in an ideal world, abortion would be unnecessary, but fact is our world is not ideal.

Sanity
- Abortion is not a pleasant thing, but for some it is necessary and the real bottom line is that the goverment should not have a say. Science says that the viability point of a child is 24 weeks; before that point, a fetus is more like a parasite than a seperate entity. Partial birth abortions are even worse because the child is past the viability point but it is still necessary in some situations. I recently learned of a case where a woman found out that the child she was carrying, at 26 weeks, no longer had a heartbeat. Because of the partial birth abortion ban, this woman will have to carry the child until an available appointment for induced labor, which is in three weeks. Unless the procedure risks the individual woman's health, partial birth abortion should be allowed in these circumstances. Abortion before the viability point should not be regulated

Abortion
- I am doing a research paper over partial birth abortions and the things I have seen, the pictures and how they describe it, are horrible. The child didnt even have a say in what it wanted. The mother and doctor should go to jail for murder. If a man killed a woman who was pregnant, they would get charged wit double murder. I think the same should go for them! How could you kill this special gift after feeling it move inside of you and know that it's a part of you! They obviously dont know what they are missing out on.

WWJD?
- Abortion is wrong on so many levels. It's just an easy way out for those who are obviously unprepared to have sex in the first place. A baby, as I see it, is a blessing. God would never, ever give you more weight to bear than you could carry. It truly saddens me to see so many people taking the gift of life for granted. As far as I see it, abortion is equal to murder. Killing a baby that's 30 days old in the womb is the exact as killing one 30 days old out of the womb. Yet abortion is offered in most major cities and the other is punished everywhere. Sickening!

Abolish D&E (partial birth)
- I believe that partial birth abortion is against what the Bible says. Yes, in some cases women need as abortion like the woman said here, but not when the baby is just near life. A child that is born at 5 months into a pregnancy can still make it. Why abort a baby at that time? Have it and give it to a family that would love to have your baby. Some women can't have children. Think about it. the Bible says "you shall not murder - Exodus 20:13" Thank you for your time.

Abortion is murder
- Would you kill a random man on the street who never did anything to you? Would you stand by and watch that happen? No, I dont think so. Why is abortion any different then murder? That baby will someday be a man or women, they would have had children and a life. Why take that away from someone just to make yours more convenient? The baby never got a say in whether they wanted to live or die. This is America were we have the freedoem of speech: why kill someone so they could never practice their rights? Everyone has the right to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Why should it be your choice who lives and who dies?

Abortions
- I personally have never had anyone close to me having a abortion or a partial abortion, but I am not totally against it, I could possibly understand when you have a disorder and if you go through the pregnancy, you are making you and your baby's life more dangerous and you both may not make it through the delivery. That would be the only case I would not be bothered by. But people having abortion because they got raped is ridiculous. I mean you can still have the baby; don't be a murder because you got raped. Don't blame that baby for someone-else's mistake.

Partial birth abortion is just WRONG
- I think abortion is an option for alot of young or poor people before 12 weeks! That doesn't bother me! What bothers me is that mothers can actually carry a child and deliver it and have it KILLED before the baby comes completely out! What's the difference if the baby comes completely out or not? It is coming out and it is a human life; someone who can't have children would love to be able to have that child. So I am for regular abortion in certain circumstances, but I am against partial birth abortions all the way. Its just despicable. I am writing a paper about abortion and partial birth abortion, and all I can do when I think about those poor little babies who were murdered is wish I could have had a chance to change their fate by talking to their mothers about adoption or other choices they had other than doing what they did to their babies.

Facebook friends and their Fbf's voted:
- we decided, even with us being about 50-50 on the issue of abortion, there isn't any real reason in our country for a partial birth abortion. Outside of a few who are unsure, we all view it as murder and a sad failure of our legal system to discern the facts, let alone what the U.S. society wants.
