Reason #2 - McCain's Refuses to Admit the Iraq War's End

At the first presidential debate, McCain obsessed frequently about "victory in Iraq" and stated several times, "... we are winning in Iraq. And we will come home with victory and with honor."

  • No withdrawal timetable.

  • No stated horror over the cost, in lives, injuries, funds, or U.S. reputation, of the Iraq War.

  • No apparent recognition that the Bush administration is presently negotiating a withdrawal timetable.

  • No agreement with General David Petraeus' statement last month that he would never use the word "victory" to describe U.S. involvement in Iraq.
And like the Bush administration, McCain doesn't seem to give a damn that, in early Oct 2008, 65% of all Americans disapprove of the Iraq war.
