Des Moines Register debate on Dec 13, 2007 - Hillary Clinton was intelligent, strong, caring, competent, detailed, and authoritative, but seen by detractors as pushy, arrogant, dishonest, shrill, and politically slick.

CNN Debate in Las Vegas, November 15, 2007, moderated by Wolf Blitzer - Hillary Clinton didn't bobble answers as she did a few weeks ago. She strode the debate stage with confidence befitting a gladiator, and forcefully responded to all criticisms. The oddest part of this debate was CNN's obvious stacking of the fight judges with pro-Clintonistas...

NBC News/Philadelphia Debate, October 30, 2007, moderated by Brian Williams, Tim Russert - Hillary Clinton was repeatedly assailed for her honesty and forthrightness. And she richly earned it, as she illustrated before our very eyes...

ABC News/Iowa Debate, August 19, 2007, moderated by George Stephanopoulos - Sen. Hillary Clinton did nothing to either hurt or help her candidacy. My impression was that Sen. Clinton tried extra-hard to seem agreeable, and to appear acceptably "nice" yet professional... rarely an easy task for highly accomplished women. It didn't work.

CNN-YouTube debate, July 23, 2007, moderated by CNN's Anderson Cooper - Sen. Clinton came across as competent, smart, experienced, certainly strong, but also as angry and slightly stiff. However, Hillary Clinton made a sharp-tongued foreign policy gaffe that will haunt her campaign to capture the Democratic nomination for the presidency.

PBS-Howard University debate, June 28, 2007, moderated by Tavis Smiley - Hillary never looked better or sounded stronger or more presidential. She was in firm command of the facts, and eloquently put forth her ideas.

California Democratic Convention, April 28-29, 2007 - Hillary Clinton looked tired, and her voice was raspy and hoarse. At times, though, Senator Clinton held the room spellbound. She received many ovations, but there were plenty of issues she ignored. One final note: Some of Hillary supporters were the most aggressive bunch here at the convention...

DNC Winter Kick-Off Meeting, February 1-3, 2007 - Bloggers report that Hillary was booed by hecklers when she spoke about the Iraq War. Make no mistake about it: Hillary is NOT the anti-poverty candidate, and she is NOT the bipartisan candidate. Victory is victory in ClintonWorld, and that means you clobber, never collaborate with, the enemy.
