Deborah WhiteDeborah White is a freelance journalist specializing in liberal politics, and progressive issues and perspectives.
In January 2007, Deborah was elected to a two-year term as a member of the California Democratic State Central Committee, and is a delegate to the California Democratic Party conventions in 2007 and 2008. She's also served as a federal elections official in California, and assisted the Nevada Democratic Party in its 2008 presidential caucus. Experience:Deborah has been politically active since her undergraduate years at UCLA. She's been a community activist for two decades, and has held leadership positions on community non-profit boards, in churches and in the corporate world. Education:Deborah studied journalism and non-fiction writing as an undergraduate, graduating Cum Laude from University of California, Los Angeles. She earned an MBA from California State University, Long Beach, and has taught at three universities. From Deborah White:"I have a passion for liberal politics and progressive issues.
