Joe Biden Has Strong Dark-Horse Buzz in Iowa
Sen. Joe Biden is the Democrat with the most dark-horse buzz as Iowans prepare to cast their presidential caucus votes on January 3, 2008
Word consistently has it that a large portion of Iowa "undecideds" are leaning toward Biden. And two weeks ago, Chris Matthews of Hardball placed the six-term senator from Delaware third in the Iowa race.
Reports Delaware Online columnist Ron Williams:
" Just 10 days after doing a column on how Joe Biden was quietly mounting support for a possible third-place finish in Iowa behind Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, more good news for Biden supporters has filtered in from the 'ground,' as the workers call it out there."Biased as they may be, my own personal ground source recently reported in. Two more (Iowa) state lawmakers have added their names as Biden caucus supporters, brining his total to 18, about the same as Clinton has."
Sen. Biden wrote today in an email to supporters:
" While the media is obsessed with the non-stop squabbling going on between other campaigns, we are quickly and not-so-quietly having a lot of success with our phone banks and events..."People are noticing our Iowa Legislative endorsements and the crowds are bigger and more knowledgeable each day."
Sen. Biden's viability as a presidential candidate makes good sense: he has more experience in foreign affairs than do Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and John Edwards COMBINED. In fact, as a six-term senator, he has more experience in every realm of the presidency than do the three frontrunners.
Biden, Chairman of the powerful Senate Foreign Relations Committee in the 110th Congress (2007-08), is a gifted negotiator who has helped shape U.S. security and foreign relations policies for decades.
Joe Biden is an immensely likeable and genuinely funny guy. And the senator is clearly honest and blunt-spoken... sometimes to the point of foot-in-the-mouth TMI (i.e. "too much info"). But after the obsessive paranoia and intransparency of the Bush administration, a leader who confesses too much sounds mighty appealing...
I'm not predicting a Iowa caucus win for Joe Biden next week. But given the complexities of Iowa caucus rules, Sen. Biden is well positioned to be the come-from-behind dark-horse Democrat, and to finish surprisingly well.

Why would anyone vote for a man who voted to authorize Bush to send Americans to die in Iraq?
The same can be said about Democratic candidates Hillary Clinton, John Edwards and Chris Dodd.
Voters will need to answer that question for themselves.
Personally, I would need to understand how they now view that regrettable 2002 vote.
None of the above mentioned are fit to serve.
Biden has said it is a mistake. He is willing to admit when he makes mistakes unlike the others.
He is the best, most honest candidate in the field.

Remember, they too were given cooked intelligence to make their decision. Like all Americans, they also believed they were granting authority to someone that had taken their oath to honor and defend our County & Constitution to heart. Joe Biden has a child headed to IRAQ, I think he is very conscious of his decisions and will be a much different leader than our current President and his Administration.
How come 23 Senators were ablwe to see through the “cooked intel” and vote against the resolution. Hillary ddin’t even read the NIE on Iraq, yet so many of you “liberals” have no problem wanting to install her in the most powerful position on earth during one of the most trying times in this country’s history. Why can’t you field a candidate froim one of the 23 who voted against the resolution?
So the Hilaryburton Drummer-girl is
