Top Five Worst Moments of the MSNBC Democratic Debate
The MSNBC Democratic presidential debate moderated on September 26, 2007 by NBC's Tim Russert in primary battleground state New Hampshire was a disturbing mess.
The stale format, Russert's hogging of camera time, inappropriate, irrelevant and even insulting questions... last week's Democratic debate debacle made me long for the freshness and spontaneity of the CNN-YouTube debate hosted by Anderson Cooper, and for the integrity and fairness of the PBS debate hosted by Tavis Smiley.
In hopes that the ills of most 2007 political debates will be corrected as the country moves toward the 2008 elections, I've selected the Top Five Worst Moments of the MSNBC Democratic Debate.
These appalling examples clearly illustrate why tens of millions of Americans turn-off and tune-out all national politics.
I promise to address the debate performances last week of Clinton, Obama, Edwards and the rest in a separate column here.
Meanwhile, read Top Five Worst Moments of the MSNBC Democratic Debate and weep.... or get seriously angry and demand better!
