Earth Day 2007: Fight the Good, Moral Fight for Planet Earth
I'm proud that the Democratic Party fights the good, moral fight for our environment. The Democratic Party agenda states:
"The Democratic Party believes that it is our responsibility to protect America's extraordinary natural resources. The health of our families and the strength of our economy depend on our stewardship of the environment.We reject the false choice between a healthy economy and a healthy environment. Farming, fishing, tourism, and other industries require a healthy environment. New technologies that protect the environment will create new high-paying jobs. A cleaner environment means a stronger economy."

Along my recurring theme of Hillary-related comments
… I got an email from the Hillary campaign this morning that, as an Earth Day announcement, they’re making the campaign carbon-neutral from here on out.
Lately, the last 6-8 months, I’m finding the Liberal Party is leaving me. This isn’t the Dems I was brought up with during Kennedy’s Admin. It’s changed so much, so much anger, blame, hate?, attacking, accusing…lack of God maybe. NO, I didn’t say the Force, I mean GOD! or at least something spiritual that reflects a desire to come together as a nation…not attack it by helping our enemies. OUR enemies! We can’t fight divided as a country and for all my Christian Dems who HATE, you leave me stunned. Which is why I won’t be on any comittees to give feedback on how to deal with the other side.
I’m saddened, as many of us are and if you continue to leave us, we’ll end up leaving you. This is not the same party. Seems like you’ve turned into haters. The last blow to my confidence is the support the party gives Rosie O. She’s ill, pedantic and spews hate…and YOU support it but I don’t…many of us don’t and you’re losing us… I won’t vote for a coward who wants to cut and run. We celebrate freedom because we fought for it.
We were attacted on our turf in Hawaii, REMEMBER? 9/11 WAS ON OUR TURF ALSO…we took the war to Japan, kicked ass and created excellent relations. Now we’re fighting in Iraq so that crap doesn’t come here again…how do you protect against Polio, TB, or the Flu if you don’t get immunized? How do you protect a country by talking to people whose women not only don’t have a voice they don’t have a face…understand what you’re choosing. This party seems to be misguided and the ones that do speak up are shunned…as individuals you stun me.
What’s more you hate so much you criticize OUR country in front of the world. We’re imploding. And thank you Nacy P for doing what you did. Just another wedge inserted by your arrogance to help me see how far many of you have drifted from representing a country to turning into prostitutes.
What happened to my party?
