Despite the fact that Liberal Politics at About.com is designated as a partisan site, I occasionally write, and continually update, Pros & Cons articles on top political issues.

I do so because we're not a cookie-cutter crowd, and not all so-called "liberals" see issues alike. As the old joke goes, getting Democrats to march Republican-style lock-step on any issue is rather like herding cats. We're just too individual and grassroots-independent for such top-down stereotypical thinking.

I've set a goal for this site to help "you understand all sides of important topics." My mission is to educate you, in a quick-reading 2-page format, on the relevant facts and views from my Christian progressive viewpoint. You, then, decide where you stand.
