Of the 10 Democratic 2008 candidates for the White House who spoke at the DNC Winter 2007 meeting last weekend, I was most impressed by the direct, simple, rousing remarks by Gov. Bill Richardson, former 7-term Congressman and U.N. Ambassador and Energy Secretary under President Bill Clinton.

Deb! I haven’t had any time for the forum, but just wanted to check your blog to see if you wrote about the DNC meeting. No surprise - you did…. BIG surprise? That you like Bill Richardson as much as I do! He’s the one to watch, IMHO. Here’s hoping he WILL break into the top tier. We need a POTUS w/ common sense, real experience and little baggage (relatively speaking, of course).
