Culture of Corruption Explodes: New Abramoff Tell-All

Wednesday March 8, 2006
The Republican culture of corruption is unexpectedly about to explode, just as support for the Bush administration implodes to Nixon-esque lows...and just as bipartisan House leadership voted 62 - 2 today to block the Bush-anointed Dubai Ports deal.

Raw Story broke the story today that the April 2006 issue of Vanity Fair magazine will feature a stunning tell-all article, complete with scads of chummy photos, by indicted Republican lobbyist Jack Abramoff.

Reports Raw Story, " Abramoff reminisces about jokes President Bush, who now claims not to remember him, made about his weight training program. Abramoff also recalls discussing the Bible, opera, and golf with Tom DeLay. Abramoff also alleges that RNC Chairman Ken Mehlman provided Abramoff political favors....."

There are photos of Abramoff with Ronald Reagan, with Newt Gingrich, golfing with a widely-grinning Tom DeLay, and much more. And Abramoff says he has a private treasure trove of unpublished photos with President Bush....which he calls his only "potential source of income.."

And here's tip for for US Liberals readers: At the very bottom of this Raw Story article is an unpublicized link to the actual Vanity Fair magazine April 2006 article, complete with photos. Be patient getting in.... everyone's trying to read this red-hot story right now.
