DailyKos Sets First Full-Fledged Convention for Liberal Blogosphere

The liberal blogosphere will finally have it first full-fledged confab in 2006 when liberal blogger community DailyKos hosts the YearlyKos Convention on June 8 to 11, 2006 in Las Vegas.

DailyKos launched in 2002 on a shoestring budget and the progressive community vision of founder Markos Moulitsas Zuniga. DailyKos now receives 12 million unique visitors monthly, has 50,000 registered members and is the highest trafficked politcal internet site.

The Convention will feature an amazing array of prestigious speakers, including many Democratic Party leaders, members of Congress and other liberal icons, as well as workshops, panel discussions, networking opportunities and much more. (Rumor has it that a few 2008 Democratic presidential hopefuls will be mingling with DailyKosers.)

And yes...yours truly will be there for the entire Convention, blogging daily here at About.com to bring you the news, developments and and who knows....maybe a couple exclusive interviews!
